I have been getting this in my spam box for about a year now and tracking the different penny stocks...

What's the deal with this stuff? EVERYtime I get this spam quote the stock skyrockets into the clouds. The one today I was told to "watch" went up 500%. I know it's all false info, an a couple days later ther eis a report on the stock page saying there was a spam mail about that particular stock.

Can anyone explain what the deal is with this spam and why I get so much of it? Why wouldn't it work if someone was to invest for a day or so while it is skyrocketing?

Rumor has it, the mafia (whatever that is supposed to be) is involved in those emails. All bullshit and illegal.

Those in at the beginning ramp up the share price. They then sell out to the suckers chasing the 400% increase dream. Suprise, suprise, the hot stock they purchased suddenly becomes impossible to offload. The brokers and the sellers melt away. Rinse and wash.
