Bait for a living?

Hey guys,

I'm very new here, but something just occurred to me out of curiosity: Is there any organization that would pay people to bait lads? After all, you people do such great work here so professionally, (preventing crimes, and occasionally, catching criminals) it seems like something very much worth investing money in, even if its in a non-profit sort of way.

Anyway, just a thought

That's how I view this place. The house makes a few bucks off of ad's and premium memberships but it's not really even enough to cover just the server costs.

Man, that would be good.

You could always do a Homer and purposely gain 61 lbs to claim disability, then stay at home and bait full time? Unless the police have a Baiting Division, that's the best I got.

If Baiting were a paying job I personally think all of the fun would be taken away from it. First I would slowly begin to resent my co-workers then the Management would require me to not drink and to wear pants and perhaps shave occasionally and then I’d be forced to take anger management courses and apply for long term disability while moving into a trailer with my ex-Wife and her Parents, have therapists at my beck and call yet since I no longer have a drivers licence (long story) I never have the chance to get the help that I desperately needed so I’d probably end up Cash Baiting another Baiter to pay for my cell bill and hang around Starbucks sipping over-priced pretentious lattes while wearing a turtle neck and perhaps a beret all the while sitting white knuckled wondering why I never really made it.

Dang; throw in a cigarette holder and maybe a carton of Camels and I’m all over it!

I know several that have, allegedly, paid while I baited lads. Just don't tell those who sign the checks. Wink

@Caligula Good on the Belgian police for baiting that pirate (would love to have read all the emails). He was given 20 years in jail - hope he serves all of it. Top work.

@bware419ers I know exactly what you mean. Feel like I'm in that situation atm.
