Has any of you heard of GETNOTIFY.COM.
I use it now and then it reports back to you when they open your emails and they do not know your doing this.
You get date ,time, and IP address
I am using it to keep an eye on a tenant in the UK, his son said he was out and could not come to the phone.
It turned out he was in JAPAN!

I've seen services like this offered by different companies, such as Readnotify, Bigstring and others. It's a useful tool. |

Unfortunately, these services rarely work these days as all the main free email providers cache images, so all you get is the IP address of their servers. |
