Accidently entered a comma in a email address. Solved

Need help.

When I was entering my email address, signing up to Amazon, I accidently entered a comma instead of a full stop just before the com at the end.

Now I would like to know how to permanently delete this address.

So far have had all my accounts cancelled by Amazon and now have a new account.

But every time I sign into Amazon the address with the comma shows, I'm working around it at the present.

I don't think this is a 419eater-related technical problem so I'm moving it to general chat.

If I understand your problem correctly it's that your browser is "remembering" this wrong address that is no longer a valid sign-in to amazon. If so, here is one link (specific to firefox), if you're using a different browser you can find info by searching with keywords like
email autocomplete/autofill remove

Spoken to my mate down the town at lunch time, computer repair shop.

I have to go into Control Panel- Internet Options-advance-Reset- reset all passwords, emails, etc, select box and then click Reset, restart computer.

On starting now all fixed, now have to re-enter all passwords and email adds correctly this time.

Using Windows 10.

Firehouse5, had it spot on in the first sentence.

All along finished back at basics.

If this helps. You actually don't have to clear your internet history. I was fixing a computer for an elderly person that didn't want his history to go away. That did a similar thing you did. But he wanted to keep his websites under the address bar drop down menu. If you go into control panel - internet options then click the content tab. near the bottom you will see auto complete you can clear it out from there.
