Rasa Sayang means "Love feeling" in Malay, name of old folk song in Malaysia and Indonesia.
I wish if the lad really eats Smelly Bean Curd, delicious, but foreigners in general dislikes, hahaha.
He claims as a contactor in Trengganu, Malaysia. The area is conservative Malay district. I heard that people there dressed differently from those in big cities like Kuala Lumpur. (I only know big cities.)
The lad says "Trengano", so I do not correct him lol

Good morning dear , how are you doing ?
Marcie
I am fine, thank you. Working time now.
Adrian
Is alright , nice reading from you this morning . Where are you from ?
Marcie
I am from Tokyo, Japan.
Adrian
You are welcome dear , i'm from Scotland United Kingdom , presently working in Malaysia . Have you been to Malaysia before ?
Marcie
Yes. Where in Malaysia you are staying?
Bahasa Melayu boleh? (means Can you speak Malay?)
Adrian
I have only been here for 3 weeks , i'm in contract with petronas oil and gas Malaysia , here in Trengano . What do you mean by Bahasa Melayu boleh ?
Marcie
Bahasa Melayu means Malay Language. Boleh means can. "can speak or not"
Trengano is very conservative Malay area. Haven't you ever heard someone ask you Bahasa Melayu boleh?
Well. I never been to east coast. Electronics parts and materials suppliers in west side, like pulau Pinang.
Adrian
Tell me more about yourself dear , are you married or single ? What actually brought you to Malaysia and when next are you coming back here ? Having you as my companion will really be my pleasure , you sound so nice and i wish is possible meeting you in person . Bye for now and have a pleasant day
Adrian Justin
Good morning dear , nice reading from you again , regarding to your previous explanation about Malaysian language , i don't understand the language and also will not know when someone ask me question because is total different from English language . I'm a petrochemical engineer , i specialize on chemical mixture and construction of rig platform . I have been so busy since i arrive Malaysia and the weather here is so hot for me . I don't have friends yet , i can only talk with my everyone colleagues that understand my language but everyone concentrates on his duty , there is no time for conversations .
Marcie
Foods are nice there in Malaysia, do you think so? What's your favorite local foods? Do you eat smelly bean curd?
Adrian
I told you in my previous message that i don't have friends here in Malaysia , no one to introduce me to there foods . My favorite is rice and fried fish , that's what i have been eating since i arrive here . The first rice i eat here was cooked with sugar and i dislike it . Feeding is actually not a problem for now , what i need is to understand the culture and biography of Malaysians
Marcie
Trengano is Malay area. Should have lots of Malay foods, hot and spicy. But I prefer Chinese and Baba Nonya foods.
Smelly bean curd is Chinese food but it is not meat, so Malay also can eat.
