We started off on metrodate the end of October but he seems to have deleted his profile there after it was disabled by metrodate.

We've been on email and messenger since then. He's originally from the west coast, but went to the UK for a big project for two months and took his son with him (I have no one to care for him while I'm gone). His boss sent him (and again, his son) to Nigeria to buy materials for their big office building since I guess you can't have them sent or buy them anywhere else in the world. Rolling Eyes

He's bought the supplies but the seaport tells him that the shipping is $14,750 and he only has $10,000 with him. And, surprise surprise, they don't accept credit cards in Africa!

And, Jerome, the son, is suddenly sick and he wants to go back to the UK.

And, now the money question:

I think Bryan is about to hang himself. Laughing

He told me at least half a dozen times that he wants me to cancel the $3,000 transfer until he can go to the seaport and find out how much more he will need (he didn't include taxes or insurance). He doesn't understand what an EFT is and still thinks that he needs a confirmation slip although Elise has told him there is no such thing. He wanted her to send the added money via bank transfer with another of her accounts without using EFT (no, I'm not making this up). I don't think he thinks I have a "good sence of armor" anymore...

So, Elise cancelled the transfer. Then his realization hit...

What is funny is when the money is chopped/not at WU/bank transfer fails, whatever- the supposed money is gone, the lad tells you to send it again! Never mind $1000's missing/stolen - they don't concern themselves with that, but send it again.

Tom & Jerry? Evil Lol

Are they fighting or friends? I have never been able to solve what happened between them to become friends.

Jerome has to go to hospital? Something tells me he's going to need more money...

Oh yeah, the shopping, I think narcissism is a common trait with lads. They always ask what you are going to buy them, yet never say anything about a gift for you. Especially during the holidays. "What are you going to buy me for Christmas?" when they are not giving anything to you at all! They never even fake it!

Oh, darn, that bank account was no good. Bryan started getting nasty with Elise about wanting proof so she decided to push bank about wanting proof of what he owed the seaport. After weeks of coming online when he thought she wasn't there and claiming that he was trying to get a copy of it made, he produced something.
