A guy tried to get me to send my camera to Nigeria by making me think I was paid. Instead, I sent him horse poop.

ETA: OK, let's try to be productive before this gets locked too. So let me see, based on the video.

1) "Scamming the scammers" is not what we do. We bait them. That catch phrase doesn't make you look cool.
2) Dealing with a scammer with your real details is not exactly safe.
3) Posting a video about it with your real face is not exactly safe either. And it being smart or making you look cool could be disputed too.
4) From the video it appears you are an adult instead of the teen I took you for. Strange place the Internetz, huh.

I'm locking this one, too. I have no desire to watch the link. While you might find it funny to wrap up fecal matter and put postal workers, delivery people, and others handling your packaged waste material in danger, we do not. It is illegal and downright disgusting. We have ethics here and putting ITP in jeopardy and violating laws in multiple countries are not something we do.

Congratulations! You managed to waste $20 on a box of shit, when you could have simply deleted the scammer's message and gone about your business.

When your package arrives in Nigeria and goes through customs, they probably wouldn't find it amusing, and they have open lines of communications with plenty of three letter agencies here in the US.

Hope Santa brings you some soap on a rope. Wink

So, you threw away $20 on a prank to piss off a scammer who just happens to have your real life information, including email and Paypal account. Then you post it on Youtube and spam the link all over the Internet.

You don't think he will retaliate? Think again. Angry lads are famous for signing up email addresses to get thousands of spam mails a day. There are many of us here who have experienced that, and it's damn unpleasant. But fortunately we all use baiting accounts and it's no loss to lose one. But a personal email address? Uh-oh. That may be a tad inconvenient.

And since he's clever enough to spoof a Paypal email, he won't have any problem at all spoofing spam mails with your address as the reply-to. Your ISP is going to appreciate the thousands of bounce backs, and angry replies. How fun to have your personal account listed as a spam bomber on the various sites that track such activity.

"Totally worth it." You may be retracting that video comment soon.
