Well, it looks like they were found. They've been in the possession of their sister school, the University of Texas at San Antonio. And I guess for a number of years. I guess they weren't technically missing.

Ok, so it was a stock keeping error rather than a scurrilous theft. Ah well. I guess I should be happy but secretly I was rather looking forward to the idea of Savage and Hyneman sending them sky high with an air cannon or a block of C4.

It's the Mail, so you should view it with the same level of trust you would assign to unbranded Chinese lifting gear. It's a question of optics anyway. "Donuts" is shorter and this allows a clearer sign per unit area increasing catchment from passers-by and increasing sales. Thank me later.
