Hey all, maybe you could spare a few minutes to help an old baiter coming out of retirement? I know most of the rules and how to bait safe etc, but I have no idea where to look to find some lovely love lads. Back in the day I had the occasional love vlad but I was more busy with fake apt lads, inheritance lads and lads of that general nature but never love lads.

So where do I look for those fine fellows and fellowettes? My character is oh so lonely!

While I'm here, shout out to all of you for doing what you do, even when I "retired" I still love coming here for a read. I was especially loving a certain thread that just disappeared that was going on 60+ pages, I think I read 50 pages of it over the course of two days!

Hi WhoMe,

Love Lads are easy to find by visiting Scamwarners.com, The Surplus section on Eater or by joining various Dating Sites. The Lowest of the Low (Lamest of the Lame surely?) seem to reside at Fishmeetfish so that is a good place to start although others like Badoo or Mingle are also rife with Scammers. Others will be along with their take so soon you will have all the Ammo you need to become a real Lover Boy/Girl.

If you do join Dating sites try to make your Profile as Hideous as possible so that you don’t attract ‘Real People’. I’ve pretty good luck with my FMF profile:

We had a lad busy with Google so it had to be moved. Oscar covered the main sources. If you like vlads TheeBeloved is where it's at as well as certain other sites who publish scammer addies. PM me if that's your interest. SW and Surplus are especially full these days.

Hi Whome. I have pretty good luck with Tagged. Lots of lads there. Be cautious if you sign up with a female profile, however, LOADS of RL guys on there. I had better luck getting just lads with my male character.

Log onto Skype for few days and you can catch African scammers. I assume mostly 80% Ghana and 19% Nigeria, 1% others like Africans in SE Asia and India/Pakistan.

Concerns on dating sites are, actually there are some real people, mostly pervs, and I gave up using Tagged and FMF.

Friend with someone's baiting facebook account also works. Lads find your fake profile from "people you may know" and ask you to add to your friends. PM me if you want to be friend with my character for baiting.

I threw out my hooks 2 days ago on tagged, mingle2 and fmf. My picture is downright grotesque and I think the first guy I snagged is legit.

I started with the "CA is so far from FL" line to get rid of him and he came right back with the "I'm willing to move for you, Baby." He's also in the service and the way he talked was kinda scammy. His location checks out tho so I backed off. Confused

On the bright side, this is making me break free of my comfort zone with talking to guys on these damn sites. Rolling Eyes

Bunny, when I first started romance scams, my fiancé was not comfortable with me talking to guys on the dating sites. So, what I did was create a male profile and baited as a male.

If you are uncomfortable with talking to guys on the internet, you can bait as a male. You'll still be talking to guys, but that is what makes it a lot of fun. Lads pretending to be female is hilarious when you ask them all kind of "women questions". I mean really, a guy does have to know about her cycle and how it affects her emotionally and physically in order to know if you two will be compatible, right? When they get snippy about sending the money, you can always ask if "she's" on her period or something. Wink

Has anyone here tried using Craigslist to find love lads? I know that it's more scam and spam filled now than it was just a few years ago in most sections. It would seem to be a lad haven since you don't even need an account to reply to someone.

The only downside of course would be ITP (which you could probably weed out by being as trashy and flaky seeming as possible even by Craigslist standards) and getting unsolicited photos of certain parts of the male anatomy.

You might run into more ITP's on craigslist than scammers. Signing up for dating sites will bring in tons of lads. Especially FishMeetFish, they have more lads and baiters than they do real people. FMF is a great starting ground for new baiters, the lads there are generally the bottom of the barrel, or brand new lads in training. It's a good place to build your baiting character.

I couldn't get FMF to publish the photos I gave them... tried 3 or 4 times with different angles and nothing doing.

I have lost my last Rombait and would love another. Going to give dating sites another go. Got my best one on FB though... went a few weeks then FB closed my account ! No explanation. Considering what goes off on F they had a cheek !My Sky Soldier who patrolled Venice for 'Italian Mafian' was one in a million !

So, I'll give Dating sites a go after Christmas again. I have tried getting names off SW and surplus here... but they are all so suspicious when you contact them.

Hi WhoMe, Welcome to some of the best fun you can have, baiting love lads.

You don't need any special hints or tips for a particular site, just make sure that they are scammers and then go for it, as straight or as a mad as you want.

I start straight with all my baits and then add in a bit of madness as it develops.

Everyone has their own style and preferences, so just stick with whatever you feel comfortable with.

Baiting love lads is often hilarious and always as if you enter a strange new world.

I have a new one at the moment who is a rat but so easy to do because you know more or less what he'll say next !

Start straight and a little shy. Enjoy. There'll always be stragglers. Sad ones that frequent these places. Whilst waiting for my lad on FB today I got 'Asad'. Sad man from Bangladesh. Wanted to marry me in the second sentence. It turned out because he can't get any sex in Bangladesh ! When I asked him about his life he said he had 'daily mastervision'.... so there is always a laugh along the way.

I find the scammers play it straight. Want you to be serious about wanting love and marriage and quote God a lot..... what an odd world we move in here.

You may want to try the postings at ScamWarners in the romance scammers section. hey're proven lads and you get a glimpse of their scripts. We frequently do massbaits down here-so feel free to jump in when we are bombing a particular scum bag.

As TigerLily said, you can do this as straight or crazy as you like. You may want to check out the massbait on Steven as the're are all different techniques on display.There's really no wrong way to do it, whether it's email, chat or phone as long as you are baiting safely and wasting his time.

To add what has already been said, start off slow (maybe one or two to start) and once you are comfortable add more as you go. Baiting love lads is a whole new realm of lads. They are the most disgusting of all the lads and you will most likely get sick to your stomach when you realize this is what they are saying to real victims. I can't handle more than 2-3 love lads at any given time as it really gets to me emotionally. You might be different, but just be prepared for anything with these lads. They come up with the most outrageous things. As said above, they do throw out God a lot. I always tell them that I don't believe and for them to keep their God to themselves (I got the from next victim) as I despise them for using faith to manipulate a victim, whether you believe or not.

Be ready to fall in love quickly! Just remember, you control the flow. If he starts wanting marriage right away (because he wants to get to the money shot) tell him (it's always a him, whether he is stating to be male or female) to slow down a bit.

I always recommend those who want to bait love lads to read the "Rosy" thread in my sig line. It shows the depth of their depravity and what and how they manipulate their victims. Next Victim is one of the best love lad baiters around. I model a lot of my baits after his.
