He might be changing the mailbox because I flipped the script from the original "lost trunk boxes" to romance. Separately, he is trying to get me to set up an email and give him the password -haha. This might be because of the recent changes by gmail and others that now require users to provide a phone number for new accounts. A scammer would not get much intel off of a brand new box, but it would be of some value to have access. They could then lock you out by changing the pw, thus having a new account linked to your phone and not theirs (should it get reported for spam, fraud, etc.).
