Good luck to all. I would love to watch them, although I doubt TV coverage would stretch as far as the U.S.

Had little scottie terriers leading each team in, some were bright they were carried.

Also they could not remove the top of the relay baton, even the queen smiled, cheers when they did it.

Lots of colour, lots of dancing, the helpers all dancing around the inner edge of the arena, corralled in the teams, I'm sure Nanny Ogg was amons't them (white haired woman).

Fireworks at the end, the BBC did finally stay to the end of them, finished 23.38 hours

Really great opening ceremony. A great party atmosphere, so good to see so many young people from 71 different countries all smiling, laughing and dancing together. A real family get-together! Such a contrast to the troubled parts of the World...

Somebody should have checked that baton before it was presented, though. I got the impression the Queen was thinking the same!

Scamzilla, How about ESPN - or if you live close enough to the border with Canada it might be possible to pick it up on one of their channels.
