ME: I'm doing great, by the way, thanks for asking. I'm single, a widow. My husband died four years ago. He was German, which is why I'm here in Germany. I was born in Chicago and raised in the suburbs. I also lived in Florida for many years. I'm a nurse and work in a NICU type of unit - working with prematurely born babies. I'm not necessarily looking for a man but, if I happen to find a good one along the way, I certainly won't run.
My likes include doing outdoorsy type of stuff - kayaking, hiking, biking...that sort of thing. On days like today where the weather isn't the best, I usually stay inside and read or bake...or clean house and/or my fish tanks. My hobbies include photography (I do some exhibitions) and fish keeping. I have three fish tanks in operation with various types of fish and plants. Dislikes including people who are always late and liars.
I think I'm pretty patient and fair tempered, until I'm pushed too far. But I find that life's too short to stress about everything.
Well, that's about all I can think of to tell you right now. Oh, I do volunteer at a local animal shelter which is why I'm sitting at home on a Saturday. I'm waiting on the post to bring a shipment of cat food that I ordered to take there. I foster motherless kittens until they're old enough to be adopted out.

she died while i was in army and navy academy
