It really hurt every seconds i remember this ,i have been hurt so bad and i don't want the past to repeat itself anymore.Its a saddest moment for me when i caught my ex sleeping with my best friend,I never knew i will be in position of searching for a true love on internet,But i believe God has his reason of all i have been going through, So ever since then i have been single and searching cus i really need a man that is going to love me and be there for me through the life's time.I want to love again and i need a man so much in my life ,Cus am tired of been single, I want to see my man very close to me, and i want him to be the last person i will see before i sleep and the first person i see when i wake up in the morning.Someone that i can share my everything with,someone that can stop me from crying when the world turn apart,During the thin and the thick... I consider myself to be very simple. I like to play sports just as much as I do watching them. Most of all i like to spend time with who I am with, and cuddle up and watch a movie. It is my opinion that we all want the same thing in regards to a partner, and that most of us either do not know how or is scared to and sabotage themselves from getting it. Ok, I like the outdoors,going to beach with watch the sun set with my man , hunting and fishing, well I will fish with an un-baited hook if it means I will get to spend some time with someone I care about. There are a lot of things I like doing as in dancing, cooking, camping, etc. My ultimate goal and what I think would make me happy is to get back on my feet and have a man by my side that I love and loves me.

I am very relationship oriented and I believe life is too short to waste. When I am in a relationship I am committed, honest, and loyal. I think that falling in love is always a good thing, even if it doesn't work out. There is always something to learn from being with someone, and happy times and memories should be cherished. Friendship comes first for me. That is not to say I never get hurt because I do. I have been burnt so bad. My last relationship ended on a very sad note for me but I do not believe in regrets. I tell you this because I cannot predict the future. Dad dead with inheritance only when she gets married.

Mom fled USA to go live in Africa after her dad died, because the grief was too much and only being poor in Africa can solve that.

Last boyfriend cheated on her with best friend.

Mom is sick.

Is there anything else that I missed? I have to admit I skimmed through a lot of it, but those points stood out to me. Wink

SBAH, one other thing would be the sick , pervy/pedofile, drunk uncle that the mother chose to live with and provide access to her as a minor child .

It is strange that a will would be written that does not support the beneficiary, it stipulates that the person has to be married or, as in this, a serious relationship ?? What real Attorney would draft such a document? This one is lazy! So it just sits around all day , doing nothing?? Pretty boring , who would want to be with her ? No ambition, dead weight !

There are wills out there that truly do say the woman must be married and/or engaged before receiving inheritance. More common in the USA before women had the right to own property. Remember, women couldn't even get a credit card without a male co-signer until the 70's! It wouldn't be unheard of in certain cultures in Africa for this to be true. Razz

SBAH , You are right , this is something that they did before Women's rights . This is not something that the lads should be told about. Tee hee!
I have also seen the African laddettes talk about their uncles taking over the Family property/home / funds after their Father/ husband died , was "killed in cold blood" , poisoned by their associates . Definitely a male driven society..

It is truly sad. A lot of customs/laws in Africa the property DOES actually go to the nearest living male relative of the male, unless the wife has a male child. There was a story of a woman who had 3 or 4 very young (under 9) daughters whose husband died in an accident. The husbands brother inherited everything (even monies from the court settlement from the gov't for the accident ($25,000)) , kicked the wife and daughters off their farm, took all the animals and sold all the husbands belongings leaving the mother with nothing. Sadly, that's a common occurrence there. Crying or Very sad

Those of us who live in developed countries should thank our lucky stars that we were born or living in countries that give women rights. There are so many unfortunate women in the world who don't have our luxuries.

Down here in The Shack, most of the scammers are men pretending to be women, tell stories about how hard their lives are and are suffering as women in Africa, when in fact the women in Africa are hard working and supporting their men. When I read some of them, like the women are to sleep with the men in order to get a job, it makes me sick and know how true it is, yet the men in their country don't do anything and many of them think it's okay. Some of their cultures just haven't evolved yet, and it's sad. I count my lucky stars that my parents are American and I am afforded so many rights and privileges that women in undeveloped countries are not.

I don't know the percentage of scammers to non-scammers in each of the different African countries*, but I do know that the majority of people from those countries are honest and just trying their best to live in countries where their gov't is very corrupt, just like you and I are in our developed country. It's important for me to remember that as our focus here is just on the scammers and I do not want to become blinded and prejudiced to a people as a whole in those regions because of the actions of a few. I have caught myself on a few occasions with unkind thoughts and I had to step back and remember that I am dealing with scammers so my thoughts are on scammers and not the true and honest citizens of their country.

*I am only speaking of African countries because the subject of women's rights down there, I know scammers are from every country.
