I am not worried about the papers but will still require a copy of them as I have previously mentioned. As also mentioned, I will require a bank account. I'm sure you're not aware that those instant money places, while I'm sure are easy and fast, are also under investigation by the US government. The CIA, FBI, NSA and other government organizations are able to obtain the personal information of people sending money through those organizations due to the scammers that use those payment methods. For that fact, I cannot put either myself nor my company under scrutiny by using any of them. Guess Ken's forgotten that Elise already sent the money to the other lawyer...

Oh, and one other thing dear. I just looked at my online statement and I'm seeing that the money that I sent the other lawyer has not been returned. So I'm taking it for granted that the transfer went through this tine. That means that he should be doing the paperwork and filing it and we won't need this other one. I do hope that you can get your money back should that be the case.

Mr. Ken Morgan has contacted you regarding some paperwork he wishes you to fill out for me. Even though he seems to have already hired you, I have a few questions that I hope you will not mind answering.

1. I have indicated to Mr. Morgan that I would be willing to have my own lawyer fly there to handle the paperwork. Is there any reason why that would not work?

2. Mr. Morgan had previously hired another attorney. His fees were $100 to fill out the same paperwork. Your fees are $17,500. Can you tell me why the huge difference in fees?

Before hiring another attorney, I wish to get to know him a bit better. The last attorney that Mr. Morgan hired was, in plain words, a jerk. He got quite verbally abusive. He was so nasty that I questioned whether he was, in fact, a lawyer. Being a business woman, I realize I can be difficult to work for but I also know how a professional should act. The lawyer was also emailing Mr. Morgan and filling him in on the situation, which is also unprofessional. While I don't know much about lawyers there, the lawyers here in the US would be kicked out for doing something like that. All of this has caused me to question Mr. Morgan's judgment in finding a lawyer.

As I also told Mr. Morgan today, I had previously transferred the fees to the previous lawyer before his dismissal. Those funds have not been returned to my bank account so it is possible that his fees have been paid and he will have to complete the paperwork.

So, to make a long story short, I don't know that we'll be needing your services for sure quite yet. I know that Mr. Morgan has given you some money already in partial payment. I'm sure that he simply forgot about the other lawyer.

As far as the payment to the previous lawyer, no proof of payment is needed. You should know that... The proof is that it was taken from my account. But I see that you have, indeed, talked with him. I received an email from my banker yesterday evening that the money had been returned again - that the account he gave me was flagged for "suspicious activity". It sounds like my instincts were right and this guy was a jerk. Anyway, the money has been credited back into my account.

I have heard back from this other lawyer who threw all sorts of wordy crap at me. I'm not certain about him, as he said at one point, "TAKE IT NOW OR NOT.". I find that rather rude, don't you? International wire transfers can take more than 72 hours. I don't know who told you that, but they are incorrect. I've had a wire transfer take up four days, just here in the US. I have asked you to please be patient, that it will get there and I, unfortunately, can't do anything to speed it up.

Well, I guess that he's no better than the last one - he's lying. I did respond to him 4 days ago and have heard nothing from him since. He said that he demanded my phone number of that I call him? Another lie...he did no such thing. I would really like to know what is going on - all I'm getting is lies from two lawyers that you've hired for me. Ones that feel the need to complain to you rather than email me - the one who is paying them. That's really not acceptable to me.

I guess I should re-think sending my own lawyer there. I think I'll call him this afternoon some time. Don't you think that seems to be the best thing to do seeing that the second lawyer is being the way he is?

I sent you my phone number on Feb. 11 - why are you saying that I didn't? You even mentioned on the 17th of trying to call me.

As far as proof of transfer, what the hell do you expect me to give you? You know that there are no such thing as transfer slips - don't you have an American bank account? Then you should know that.

I called my banker today to ask about it. It turns out that I had made a mistake with the transfer. I typed in the lawyer's name instead of the name that he gave me. Funny that the money isn't going to an account in his name, don't you think? So the money had been returned.

I may be only talking about the lawyer - according to you - but all you talk about these days is the money. Fine then. if you think that I'm not serious and just wasting your time, then I won't waste it anymore. I'll call my banker in the morning and have him stop the transfer. You can figure out another way to get the money into your account.

Yes, I do think I know how you feel. In the last half dozen mails or so that's all you've talked about is the money. There are only a few ways to send the money out - wire transfer, instant money transfer, sending it via mail. We've already talked about why I won't do the instant money transfer, so you know why - please stop saying you don't.

Making the mistake was easy. Apparently, the money isn't going to his account. I wonder why? It's going to a bank in England. If he wants me to make it appear faster, then he should have given me a bank account in the US. It's his fault that it's taking so long.

I'm very hurt by all that you sad and am wondering about your commitment to our relationship.

Just to update you - the payment was returned to my bank with a notation that there is a problem with the account. I asked my banker to see if he could get clarification but that is all they would tell him. I have informed Ken of the situation in case he has some suggestions on what else to do. So unless you have another bank account that is a working one, then I'm afraid that we won't be able to conclude the transaction.

Hi dear,

Just wrote lawyer. We've had bad storms here - lightning, hail, rain and tornadoes. Work has been closed this week due to no power and I wanted workers at home iwth their families. Lightning struck my house and I have no power here so am sending message via phone. Weather is supposed to be better today so I will go to work to see if power on and see if any damage there. I will send transfer today if power is bakc on. Storms bad all over and many people killed in several states... Have apologized to lawyer for delay but it coudln't be helped...
