The only things I could offer suggestion on are minimal.
When they bring their fake past into it, you should shut that down as soon as possible. Your past is also littered with cheating, lying, drunken, whoring, (pick your poison here). Take control of your bait as soon as you find the opening.
When he told you to get lost and came back to you that means you have him convinced that you are a possible mark and he buys what you are selling. Use that against him and make him wait another day or even 2 and then reply as though you are hurt by his lack of emotion unless he gets it his way.
You are still trying to work into your comfort with your character and it takes time to find your confidence. You are doing a fine job and there is no way you can mess up overall. Find what suits you. |
