I have way too many badoo scammers approaching one of my profiles, far too many to bait, so sometimes I just pick a bunch of random ones, and either play the complete bitch or I tell them I know they are a scammer and taunt them to figure out how they gave themselves away (never telling them of course.) Some try to convince me they aren't, some just walk away, and occasionally one gets a bit more upset...

So I told this one (standard pathetic approach, traveling, no distance can separate true love, blah, blah, blah...) that I knew he was an African scammer, and this is his reply:

What type of site is badoo? Is it like FMF or better quality pool of lads?

Badoo is mixed. Lads galore especially if you have a fifty-something or 60-something character. Many unskilled lads like FMF but definitely a few more skilled ones. Badoo is a tiny bit better about deleting scammers, and I have never seen a Dakar darling, lottery lad, or any of the others that like to join and spam their scripts.

It is also quite a hookup site so you do not want to make your character too attractive or the pervs will come crawling out from under their rocks. I prefer badoo myself because I have encountered several real victims who met their scammers there (as opposed to FMF which comes up rarely at most) and I prefer to interfere where they are most successful. Badoo also has an extremely irritating "verified user" status if you link a FB page and phone (there are a couple other options) to your profile. Lads take advantage of this as it gives some vics a false sense of security. But it also means many of the lads put a little more effort into supporting their fake characters.

Thanks Dorothy! I haven't baited a love lad in a while now and really am sick of FMF. I might give Badoo a try. I need to set up a fake FB page for my character, I haven't done that yet. It might be better to set that up, get a few fake friends and statuses first, then in a bit apply. I rarely go on my real life FB page, let alone a fake one. Razz

I can create a 50 year old, semi attractive almost wealthy widow. I have had a few frustrating months and could use a lad to slap around a bit. Plus I need some more piggies in my sty. Oinker is getting lonely.
