Honey, I would be happy to help you! My travel agent could book a ticket for you, but he will need a copy of your passport. The same applies for the visa. I don´t know if I told you that I work for an american company as an accountant, but anyway, they made me sign a contract that I am not allowed to ever use WesternUnion or MoneyGram (I think someone of the company stole some money from them through that). Please understand that I can´t use these two otherwise I will lose my job.

But I can make a bank transfer from my bank, that would be ok. If you don´t have a bank account you could certainly use the account of a co-worker? You told me that the people in Ghana are so nice, so that shouldn´t be a problem.
I think 2000$ should be ok for the Visa and the ticket, shouldn´t it?

Honey, WU is not a bank with accounts! When I applied for my job they gave me a lot of information about WU, MG or Money-Pak and it showed that they all had one thing in common - they are used mainly by criminals and fraudsters. They are even monitored by the CIA and I don´t want to have problems with my employer! I need that job (at least for a little while longer), I hope you can understand that.
Why can´t you go to a bank in Ghana and open an account? Or ask a friend or co-worker if you can use his bank account ?

I am sorry, but that is the only way I can get money to you. The US embassy can contact me and I pay the fee for your Visa directly to them and book your ticket through my travel agent. That is the other option we have.

I got your last email very late Friday night, so the banks were closed. I can´t remember if I told you that, but I am in Germany only for a limited period of time. I lost my husband 18 months ago and as he was the reason I moved to Everglades City, Fl, I decided to take some time to sort out my life after his death and went to Germany to stay with my relatives for the time being. This is why I don´t have an account here. My salary goes to my american account, so I think it would take up to 4 days. Last time I made a transfer to my uncle´s account in Germany it took 5 days, but there was a german holiday in between, so 3-4 days should be realistic. I think we have a problem, honey. You remember telling me that your email address was compromised and then saying it was ok? I guess your account was really compromised because I have been getting emails from someone claiming to be you, but the way this person writes is so different from yours and I am always called by my full name... It just doesn´t look right to me.

When I came home last night I mailed my banker because I didn´t get the transfer slip and today they answered. She told me that the bank got the money back. We checked the account data you gave me and they were correct so she thinks that you gave me a wrong IBAN. She also said that the first numbers of the IBAN were correct as they represent the bank but the last numbers were incorrect. Could you please ask the agent again and doublecheck the information? If the information you gave me was correct, your account has to be hacked.

I am so annoyed by that delay, I was hoping to see you real soon. My project should be finished by the end of next week and I was looking forward to spend time with you and do naughty things ...
