Hey I have been aware of 419 scams since forever and have followed the scam baiting culture. You guys are awesome! Lately my fb has been getting a lot of love letters from these people. At first I would just report them to fb but its getting crazy I guess I am just that attractive!

You guys have entertained the crap out of me and I would love to return the favor. I will make baiting my new hobby.

Any suggestions on this type of scam and ways to bait them? I will have some creative ways but they are untested.

My concern is I might not get the scammer to do much if he is already using fake pictures of hott girls. Do you guys have any tips on this type of bait? I was thinking of making a fake fb page with pics of a hott girl so the scammer can atleast be himself. But I don't want to go through all of that yet lol

I made a special email just for that. when they fb message me asking them to please email them because they have something important to tell me, I copied their emails and started responding. Hopefully I will be able to provide quality entertainment for you guys :-p

Welcome to Eater! You took the first big st-bait safe. Use an account or profile that has no personal information at all. There are stickies in this section as well as EaterU about RomScam baiting that will given you lots of information to start with.

You may want to sign up for a mentor. They can be pretty helpful in answering questions and helping you past the rough spots.

Welcome to the forum. It's always good to see new members coming in and especially into the darker side of baiting. Not everyone has the stomach for it.

As profiles go it is far better to have an older, none too pretty, single/widowed woman profile to catch these buggers. I have one with a younger Russian girls photos on it and I really can't use it to bait a lot because it can draw innocent people to it due to the looks.

I would suggest a read through some of coffinsurfer or Internationalchrysis work. Both use facebook for baiting so you can see a bit of what is possible or maybe just get some ideas for your own use.

Welcome new member! Good advice from Next Victim and well done for choosing Love/Dating the bait that isn't just in the toilet but firmly round the bend.

As NV says the scammers want your money not to actually date you. Pick a character who is widowed/divorced and therefore in their eyes deperate and vunerable. Tell them that you're not very attractive and they will respond they don't care what you look like. Tell them you're nearly 50 and they'll say age doesn't matter. Tell them you have just inherited your dead parents fortune and they will say you are the love of their lives and they want to marry you.

Hey guys thanks for commenting on my thread. My dating Bait dilemma is this.

The romance scams that I get offered come to my regular facebook page, im just a typical guy. I dont have a female fb page, which I should make for baiting. For now every romance lead i have is "women" that message me.

I am assuming that chances are it is a guy that is messaging me and nota a female. I have already answered from my baiting email.

But how do I to have fun with this guys since he is doing the scam as a female, chances are he will not break character right?

I would think that most every Shemale is exactly that. It is very rare to find a real one and get any trophy. It could not hurt to put up a male and female fake and see what that gets you.

I think in your early baits you should concentrate more on nailing down the characters rather than trying to get the trophy photos. I have gotten one genuine in my entire time and that was through sheer luck. She wrote "I love Derrick" on her hand and took a photo but only because a hacker was actually in her box writing me also.

You can get a lot of photochops which are also nice trophies since he put time and effort into them but it should not be the only focus. nothing wrong with aiming for those trophies but should not be the major focus.

It might be good to find a dating site or two to drop a profile in to find your comfort or prowl through Surplus. There are always strays showing up in there.

@FT419s-you are correct-the vast majority are males-that includes the "females" and hot young things sending your profile winks etc. So make up a fake MALE profile-I use middleage widowers and divorced guys.

You can have a lot of fun with a scammer who is trying to imitate a woman-see Oscars and NV's baits. They will tell you they love you within 3-4 emails and your can tell them it's too soon, etc.

I am already currently in 3 baits, joined the mentorship program, mentor messaged me, i gave him the status of the 3 baits, each a diff scam, 1 romance, 1 bank fraud, 1 dying lady that needs to give her money away to the correct charities and doesnt trust her family so shes looking for a secret person to help her manage this money lol

Random question, most of you veterans here have these cool little icons on the bttom of your signature and qoutes. I am assuming its quotes from victims? what about the little icons?

Hi FT419s and welcome here,

I’m glad you took the plunge and entered the Mentor Program as it is an extremely valuable resource. If I had taken the plunge a while back I might have actually learned something rather than being an all-round know it all… Oh well. Asking questions of this bunch is also a great way to learn the tricks of the trade as they are kinda sick and twisted (please keep that a secret between us okay?) but also full of excellent advice.

Some of my Best work has been when I have pretended to be Female. Honestly the Lads love the concept of having a large breasted (read slutty) female at their Beck and Call. Your character can be Rich or Poor, Stupid or Smart, Powerful or Weak or any combination of those and it has the potential to make an excellent Bait. Using a Female character is how I got the majority of my rather disturbing Trophies in fact.

Being said, Trophies are not all they are cracked up to be. Yeah they are Funny but I would rather destroy a lad’s resources (Bank Accounts/Mules/Credit Cards….) and in doing so break their spirit.

Lol I honestly spent the whole night more than 6 hours straight with little breaks in between, reading about 419s, hearing some of the audio and video you guys upload. Etc.

I have a personal vendetta against people that try to hustle innocent people, specially when they use religion or love as a foundation for a con.

I follow hip-hop and reggae alot and was sickened when I saw a reggae song praising scammers.

So in due time I hope to contribute to this site, I will even be joining the upgraded membership soon just to support the efforts.
