I think it a bit soon for the "I love you", that takes time. Your boy is in quite the hurry and pushing for that quick meeting. It is really up to you which direction you go with that. He must be one of those from that first of summer group thinking he is going to get off that easy.

^^^^^ is that what he said? I do get the feeling he's quite pushy. I may have to tell "her" that I am very attracted and really liking her, but let's get to know each other a bit more before we plan the meeting. She doesn't know yet that I have in-laws in Kenya, who own their own plane, so I could go to her...

This is kind of hard to do. My emotions are all over the map writing to these despicable people. I can only imagine how a person who doesn't know he's being scammed would feel after finding that out. I just feel drained and disgusted at the same time. It was different when I was just reading these posts. Don't get me wrong, I am not thinking of quitting, if anything it makes me want to do it more. My heart just bleeds for the innocent victims and how their lives could be destroyed. I have cried more than once over this. I hope it gets easier with time. Though I never want to lose the feeling that drives me to do it.

What you do and how far you go with it is up to you> Trust me, all of us have had baits that creeped us out. You can always tell the lad you're in now hurry, since you are looking for a serious relationship, you need to get to know each other. Like why is he hiding in his room?

And for inspiration, you can check our sister site. The damage these people do is beyond financial.

I like the way you are thinking of taking it and it is the way I would go. I want to always discourage them from thinking that 3 mail meeting/money thing is real.

It does get better in time but it is good that you can actually feel something of what a real person would. It is very scary and sickening especially as you start.

I keep what I call a RAGE FILE that contains several letters and links to stories that have been posted here of people that found us because of this happening to them or a loved one. SW is also a good source but I just like mine here on the PC where I can get to them with a click.

I am going to visit scamwarners (?), I think the financial devastation is not near the emotional damage that these people do to their victims.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. Your last email has me scratching my head in wonder. I really like you, but you keep throwing around the "love" word, which I take very seriously. I met you a week ago, so how can you be in love. I don't know what makes you happy, I don't know what makes you sad and most importantly, I don't know what makes you laugh. You don't know the same about me. The only thing I know about you is you don't like liars and cheats. No one likes those. So, let's take a step back and figure out those things I listed about ourselves and go from there. If we are meant to be, it will happen, let's not rush things, we don't want to get hurt.
