I'm trying to find a toy that I don't think has been made for some time.
One of those little submarines or divers, with a plastic tube sticking out from the top, that you blew into to make the thing go up and down in the water. Sink, bath or wherever.
I might get lucky and find one unused or in good nick on ebay, but am having no luck. I've been searching using pop-up submarine or diver, but can't get any results. There might even be someone making them still if I knew what they were called.
Does anyone remember these and know the name? |

Those are exactly what I'm looking for. Will keep an eye out on ebay. They're not that expensive when they come up for sale by the looks of it. |

Thanks. I found that vid on youtube as well. He's right that they weren't much to look at.
Imagination had to fill in the gaps left by the basic concept.  |

Aaaah. Memories!
I had the sub, my younger bro had the diver.
If I made the sub do what could be best described as a 'crash dive', I ended up with a mouthful of soapy bath water... 
Found this, but it's not quite the same and not cheap....

I REALLY have to read these posts more closely.
All I caught from the original post was.."blow" and "make it go up and down".

@ llamedos. When I think back to how many of these pocket money toys I broke or threw away over the years. Not forgetting all the Action Men that died an honourable or heroic death. |
