It just goes to show how many people are getting ripped off. And this is one that it advertised! How many more are not mentioned due to embarrassment? I guess no one can work that out.

You should also be aware that not all agony aunt letters are genuine. Sometimes they run a fictional one so that they have an excuse to put across information for their general readership (or have something a little salacious to keep everyone interested)

I'm sure that's true.
But, at least, in this case the information is good, and if it only stops one vulnerable and trusting person losing money (or, even worse, suffering heartache), it's worthwhile.
