Well, I guess the vlads have gotten over their hangovers from the holiday. Wayne said they'd be quiet over this peried, and that's what appears to have happened here.

Here's what I got:

together morning coffee. It would be wonderful...

And so on. Now, that's very nice, but it would have been nicer if she would have explained why this mail came SIX DAYS after her last letter to me, in which she said that I was the only man in her life now. So what has she been doing, sitting around thinking about me without actually lifting a finger to contact me?

She sent a couple of pictures of herself, including one that I consider very clever, there's this sculpture thing with the sun suspended in the air between two columns, and she positioned herself so she's got the sun over her head and she titled the picture "Lucid thought". Another one, she's standing in front of what she calls a tank, and what I think of as, I guess, an armored personnel carrier. She says her friend's husband let her ride around in one once.

If I slap her, will she drop communication? Or will she just ignore the content of my letter and continue on the script? It looks to me like she reads the letters, but it could be just coincidence, with the issue that I mention happening to match up with the next item on the script. For example, she raised the issue of her calling me right after I asked for her phone number, but she didn't refer to the fact that I had suggested me calling her.

These things are fun to read. She - or the gang - has a great imagination; she doesn't just talk about her feelings, although there's plenty of that, she also talks about experiences she has had, and they're quite plausible and down to earth.

If you want to keep the vlad then play it as a real victim would, question her as to why she went quiet for so long,???

All she is doing is feeling you out to see if you are genuine or not,

although she seems to write each word in her letters they are part written and part scripted but that is just another way of vlads trying to convince you they are real and not scammers Twisted Evil

EDIT also don't be shy to slap, a real victim would be angry if his love went missing for 6 days,
Also try to become a little more demanding of her too, put the pressure on her to try and win a trophy,

this is of course your call but I play with my vlads like dolls, I shout and they jump Twisted Evil

If they do drop you ,,, no worries there are always replacements out there Twisted Evil

Dark spirit, she must think I'm genuine, she's been at it over a month now. Nothing today, though, and no phone call yet - maybe she's working on getting the phone call set up?

I don't know if the letters are part real and part script, they could be 100% script, with her reading my letters just to see which letter she needed to pull off the pile. Oh, and I disagree slightly with your view that the letters are not written word for word. They are written word for word, in that somebody wrote them at some point. The part I agree with is that they weren't written with me specifically in mind, and weren't written in response to my letters.

But the writing ability and imagination, and understanding of what is likely to spark the interest of a potential romantic partner, those are all real qualities that somebody involved in the process has. It makes you think good Lord, why don't these people get jobs as writers and quit making a dishonest living?

I agree with you comments but in the real world it is difficult for us a baiters to understand how anybody could be fooled by these kind of letters but they are and thats the real sad thing in the whole affair.
The victime are not stupid but the scammers know how to get their victims by aiming at their weak points, in this case, vlad, through the heart and thats why I like to slap vlads often Twisted Evil

Vlads are changing the approach and perhaps for 2 reasons.

first: the scripted approach is easy to find on google

second: the unscripted approach is more believable, i.e. answering questions asked by the potential victim

Sometimes a vlad will give you a miss just to test your reaction, if you write and ask what happed ect then they are more likely to think you are genuine,, ie a normal reaction to the situation.

Either way, just keep slapping the vlad Twisted Evil
