I got my lad to take a 5day road trip from Enugu to Lagos (about 500 miles) to pickup my character. He rode a 8 hour bus to Lagos and spent a night at the hotel just to pick up my character. My character was to arrive at 3:25 AM at Lagos Airport. 
This ended in one pissed off lad with little sleep and plenty of red eyes. He even dragged his best friend with him to pick me up. He wasted his cash buying me flowers... I left him hanging at the airport terminal holding a bouqet of roses.  But I decided to take the bus to Benin without my lovy lad.
Here's his response after I slapped him for leaving me stranded:

My lad didn't e-mail me when he was in Lagos. So he cost me another pithe helmet! I'll try to drag him out of Enugu State to Cotonou, Benin... |

Yup....
He must be thinking that he snagged a bride from hell. Wasted his cyber cafe time with yahoo chats and games. Plus, this road trip. |
