I like to read up on the latest news coming out of Nigeria involving the 419 trade. I came accross this article today that is somewhat unusual. Has anyone heard of this, and if so, explain to me what is going on? JMO, it sounds like a man that has scammed his own people, and is trying to save his own hide. I may be 100% wrong though. The article is long, but it is interesting reading.

I'd say that Mr. Emeka Anyanwu and the others have fallen prey to a classic Ponzi scheme, though pyramid schemes are mentioend near the end of the Vanguard article.

I think yastreb has it right. I'm looking at the site, and it definitely smells a bit of pyramid/ponzi. |

Very interesting that a Nigerian is being ripped off by an American. Maybe we should go after the bad guys to show the Nigerians what this site is all about. I wonder if we could rock his world so to speak. (the Pyramid folks)
