I think my lad might have gotten beaten up

I've lost him. On January 18th I got the following from him:

Daddy, i have just completed filling the aplication forms.
this cost me alot of money of which you know my condition, i did all this on credit basic, which i promise internet cafe owner that i will pay him back as soon as posible.
Daddy i hope on you because i dont have any other way of paying back this debt. that is why i blah blah blah

That same day I received twenty pages of my church application. I then told him that there was a problem in receiving the forms, and had him send them to me one at a time, which he did. It took him 2 1/2 hours to do, but he did. Then he went silent.

On Jan 25th I got the following:

DADDY YOU TOLD I MADE A MISTAKE, WHICH I BELIEVE YOU, AND AM READY TO RE-FILL THE FORMS AND CORRECT THE MISTAKE UNDER YOUR DIRECTION, BUT I NEED MONEY TO PAY THE DEPT SO I CAN RE-PRINT AND FILL ALSO SCAN BACK TO YOU.
DADDY' YOU KNOW MY CONDITION HERE IN AFRICA AS A REFUGEE IN THE CAMP.
DADDY AS YOU SAID BEFORE THE CHURCH CAN NOT SEND ME MONEY, BUT I AM BEGGING YOU TO PLEASE SEND THIS MONEY FROM YOUR OWN POCKET TO ME TO ENABLE ME TO DO ALL THIS AS YOU SON.
AS YOU SAID YOU ARE PROUD OF ME AS YOUR SON ALSO I AM TOO.
I WAIT TO SEE YOU SEND THE MONEY.

I honestly believe that he is either 1) completely broke and deeply in debt, 2) been beaten up by the Internet Cafe owner for non-payment, or 3) both 1 and 2. He was emailing me at least once a day, sometimes two or three times a day, then he suddenly goes silent after spending a great deal of time completing and faxing in my form (this is the mugu that did jaberwocky).

I sent him an email telling him that he has been officially taken out of consideration for the Regional Head position. Still no response. I hope the little feller is okay. Twisted Evil

I think you forgot the third possibility: prostitution until he pays back his debt. That's why he's been away from the computer for so long........

^^^ I'm the daddy. My pastor character kept addressing him as "My Son", so he started calling me his daddy. It's kinda creepy, but it helps build up trust, so I ran with it.
