For all those suffering from PTSD after seeing that "chicken in a can" there is a cure for it - just eat this for 30 days in a row:

MAMA Instant Noodle (Chicken Flavor / Mi Ga)

Instant "Mama" noodles with artificial chicken flavour made in Thailand. Contains MSG, salt and sugar in abundance, but not even a minute trace of real chicken.

Took us 25 years to get the supermarkets to replace frozen shit chickens with proper, freshly butchered and meaty chickens. I wouldn't eat a chicken that came out of a can, if I was knighted and got a fief.

A former colleague who spent a lot of time in Thailand reported that there was a brand of instant noodles called "very drunk" that was just right for when you'd come home absolutely blind battered and wanted something incredibly spicy. Do they still make these? He bought me back some delicious tom yam noodles with a big lump of pork fat in them and a small jar of mangda beetle paste. This was odd stuff, very ... insecty but pleasant in its own way when mixed with soup or noodles.
