OK - So VM is old enough to be your granddad, Joker is 'just immature', Fryer reckons he's 'turned old' and Tururut believes the upper limit here is 'probably' 75. I have a granddaughter ten years older than IE's, but Willeater's granddaughter beats that by another ten years.

Well, I've just clicked on the '70+' button and appear to be the first to do so. If that button was labelled '75+' it would still be the button for me, so bang goes your theory Tururut.

I've always told the younger family members who have been inqisitive enough to enquire, that I gave up birthdays when I was 9 because the doctor told me birthdays were what makes a person old. Therefore I am the oldest nine-year-old in the world (so move over Joker, I'm heading for a place beside you on the 'just immature' shelf).

By the way, I have always believed in the maxim that God has allocated each of us with a limited number of heartbeats, and then that's it; Pearly Gates next stop, so my advice to all you young whippersnappers is slow down! Stop wasting your allocation on all that frantic exercise and sport and find a nice comfy sofa, a cup of tea and buttered crumpets with honey and enjoy being lazy - like me! Very Happy

I clicked the 30-40 button. Ok, I'm closer to forty. I've had to start dyeing my hair because the red color's fading with age and I have no desire to be a strawberry blonde. I'm a daywalker, so yes, I do have a soul. Razz

^I hear you. My hair started going gray (actually, pure white) in my 20's. Every couple of months I run around the house with a plastic bag on my head and my roommate says, "Cooking your head again?" It comes out the shade it used to be. It's a pain in the arse, but beats looking like a native Q-tip. Laughing

I decided years ago to embrace the gray, well, really white. It's just who I am, I'm not going to try to deny it. I'm not trying to win over any young women with my great looks. Very Happy

I hear the more souls you steal the younger you look (you got that covered from the sounds of it) and the more red your hair appears. Laughing

In truth mine goes from red to strawberry blond during summer and back the other way come winter, with each year being a little less red and a little more towards the strawberry blond. Dye the hair? My boss would kill me if I went blue again.

I'm old enough to be your older sister. That goes for a lot of you. And I'm at the age where I'm realizing there probably isn't such thing as "old" - just a whole generation or two hoping you younger kids don't catch on to what we're REALLY up to Wink

Who cares how old we are, does it really matter?

What we do as a group is spectacular. Every person here is a precious part of a machine that mows down lads. Be they love lads, or fake bank lads, etc., the distinction does not matter -- they walk into brilliance and leave stredded, broken and/or angry. ooooo

Here's to everyone's birthday. I do not care how old/young you are. Sorry to be so brazen, but if you're 16 or 79, you're family to me. ♥

What I find particularly encouraging about this poll is that there remains a spread across the entire adult age-range of people eager to become involved in this; Those at the younger limit could so easily declare, 'Hey I'm young and only just begun to explore what life is all aboout! Leave me alone to enjoy it!"

I have adopted a new approach to getting older. I used to drag in after work on Friday and spend the weekend doing my best couch slug impression. Three weeks ago I adopted a new approach. Now Saturday is a proclaimed "Day of Joy." I drag myself to the grocery store before dawn, and by the time everyone else is awake, the air is redolent with yummy smells coming from the kitchen. Granted, yesterday's joy included shattering the crockpot lid on the kitchen floor, but the apple peach pie made the day! Laughing

And Sundays are now "Game Day." I put on my fav NFL t-shirt (Washington Redskins - don't hate on me), turn on the game, and have a full-out bitch and yell session while snacking on the deliciousness I made yesterday. I do not know of the "Jacksonville Jaguars" but have the feeling that today's bitch session will be epic.

And tomorrow I will return to the mundane, wearing pants and everything, ready for another week, smiling because another Weekend of Joy is immanent.
