I agree about the chicken in the can...putting that right up on my list of canned pork brains.

Edit: I remember, back in the 70's, that there were "kids" in High Schools up in Northern Minnesota who were on the hockey team that had full beards and spoke French. They were loosely referred to as "exchange students". Hockey is serious business around here.

I can only attest that it is a supermarket staple. Usually Sue Bee brand.

It does not make a slurping sound btw, but you will when a nice bowl of dumplings is put in front of you. Very Happy

Trader Joe's sells frozen poutine in the US. It's not as good as what I've had in Québec but it's still yummy. Now I'm thinking about having some tonight. Délicieux!
