Paranoid was a comic genius who perfected the art of tossing knuckleballs for strikes in the PW thread, leaving you laughing for the rest of the day.
That was the first thing that I noticed about him when I came here many years ago.
Although I never knew him personally as many of his mentees and friends here have, I have seen his work and heard many things about him through the other members here who have. The words I heard to describe him were always positive ones. "Patient, kind, brilliant, funny, optimistic, a marvelous teacher, enlightening, dedicated, inspiring, attentive, caring, helpful..."
He touched many people's lives by his presence here on the forum, and he will be missed.
My condolences to the family. |

Paranoid was a genuinely nice guy. Never heard or saw a bad word said against him; only good - he was that spot on.
One of the best ever to be a member of this community and we are much poorer for his passing.

I never got to know him personally. I have been with eater since January. He has responded to a couple of my threads. I was just looking at some of his old stuff on here. What a great guy. So sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family and everyone that knew him. |

Horrible news. I did not interact one on one a lot with him but always thought of him fondly and respected him and his contributions to the community here. He was always helpful and friendly. On more than one account I heard he was a wonderful mentor now knowing more about his RL occupation I can see why.
