There are vacines to prevent one getting malaria, and if it caught is fairly treatable, with a range of drugs. A needless number of people die from it, but the fact is malaria is treatable.

Irrespective of the rights and wrongs of using ebola in a bait, I wonder if there will be a greater reluctance to use Internet cafes by scammers.

I must admit that I had considered an ebola bait. I could play the roll of a scientist working on finding a cure. Maybe I need to purchase some goods to aid my research - centrifuge, sterilisation equipment etc. If I am unlucky I will get a scammer who decides to not defraud someone working on finding a cure to a disease that is mainly confined to West Africa.

I've already had an ebola based scam mail in a catcher-combined with an HIV cure. I am going to ignore it for now.

YES! Gin and tonic (quinine). I've drank plenty of them and never got malaria.

OK I totally understand about the ITP's with this, and some of the other issues. However, could we use the Ebola thing to make lads take themselves out of circulation for a while?

There have been reports of the doctors who have been given the vaccine doing well, as well as a couple of documented cases of where people have survived it. If we use this info to makeup some Ebola remedies, we are actually giving them some hope (albeit pointless).

If we say that observations on these cases have noted the following: it appears that the electromagnetic output of all electrical and battery powered devices seem to weaken the immune system allowing Ebola to take hold and exacerbate the progress of the illness. Also to prevent the eyes bleeding people should shield their eyes from light as much as possible, by using either a blindfold or remaining in a darkened room. The thought of a whole bevvy of lads in self-imposed exile in a darkened room, bored witless unable to do any of their normal activities like use a computer, phone or telly fills me with joy. Seeing as Ebola can take 21 days for symptoms to develop the lads could be in their sanctuary for quite a while.

I would follow the squirrel's lead and leave this well alone. It's unlikely that we can make anything any better, and making things worse is very possible. Ebola kills lads just the same as regular folks, the best we can hope for is not to inflame the situation.

Well a particular orphanage lad that is being mass baited just mentioned Ebola to me as an excuses for not filling out my form and has been delaying for weeks now. I told him (given the fact that I am church baiting him) that all he needs to do is pray and in doing so will not have to worry about it and like many other churches I mentioned the bullcrap story about prayer healing cancer as an example of the power of prayer. I am not including what I sent him in this post as I believe this part of the form is not login protected. I am not sure if it is okay to maybe wonder: so what if the lad gets Ebola he is a terrible person who has probably ruined many lives and it is possible they have done things as terrible or maybe even more terrible beyond emailing.
