Plan 9 from Planet X (VHS and DVD versions I have).
Lugosi's last film and perhaps the worst ever made (besides Police Academy 5).

The Stand was brilliant....until the Hand of God thing.
I would add The Langoliers....until you actually saw them.
The TV mini of The Shining - again, brilliant until the last 42 seconds, or so.
30 Days of Night is probably the best vampire movie to come along since Christopher Lee's Hammer classics. |

@Tsnerd - Thanks! Now I want to have a movie marathon! Sad thing though, Netflix doesn't have those movies for streaming  I am really disappointed with Netflix lately, they are taking all the good movies away and don't have near enough BBC Nature documentaries. (Like Meerkat Manor)
Speaking of Stephen King - I had no idea he did Shawshank Redemption or The Green Mile! I did like his book "Fine Things", but not the movie.
