I just wanted to ask you the value in £ of your shipment that's been stopped

Where will tax be payable, UK because that's where you live, Syria, because that's where the profit is coming from or the US for some reason, and what rate of taxation will you be paying? You mention interest payments, that's presumably because you borrowed money to pay for the equipment, what rate of interest are you paying?

Not had a reply yet to this last question, I thought I'd make him use his brain, but I do have a plan tied in with my chars' job

Bomb and motion detectors- hmm, sounds like that could be a fun angle to play as well.
I'm anxious to see his answer to your question. I will assume he has to make something up and I'm sure it will take some time.

If the bank is taking 28% interest that means he has horrible credit. He might not pay you back. Wink

Part of my character's backstory is that her husband left her for another man. I was in chat with a scammer once he asked about(fake) hubby Nick.

I said he's left me.

Lad replies that's terrible.

I respond "With a 19 year old..."

Lad comes back with so sad.

I finish the sentence: "Man!" There's a 90 second gap while this fact slowly churns around in lad's head. The best he could come out with was "What!"

Love lad has a new investor-J0hn Huckab3y, clueless US business man with waaaay too much money. We've been discussing how to invest $50Gs at a more favorable rate of interest. We've gone back and forth with standard biz-type stuff and Billy the Bruce comes up with the following-
