Good morning my love Steven,

thank you very much for your quick response.
I cannot say that I am having a good time right now, I'm really stressed, and my bad headache just won't seem to go away.
I think I will call my doctor this week and make an appointment....I want to go there before Christmas, because most of the times they shut their offices down in the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve.
Today is gonna be another busy day, there are just so many things I need to get done, and right on top of all this I received a phone call all yesterday evening.
The newspaper I do many photo jobs for wants me to go to Berlin and take pictures there, of the famous Sanssoucis Castle and some designated spots in town. As they want "twilight" pictures only, it will take me several days, because the time frame is limited, it's only a short time after sunrise and then sunset + 30 minutes, and therefore I will have to stay there until Friday. I have no idea yet whether I will take my notebook with me; my camera equipment alone is so heavy, and I will need a suitcase, too. So chances are good I might not be able to get in touch with you until then; but you could.... as soon as I know which hotel they booked for me, I will forward the contact details, and you could call me on the phone? I have not heard your voice yet, and I would so much love to talk to you!!
Before I go to the bank today and wire the money again, I need to know what the official story behind the money in the consignment box is, because, like I told you, it cannot simply be delivered to my doorstep.
It will be put on hold in custom's custody, and we will have to go there and clear it before it will be officially released.
If you know the law, then you will know as well that we will have to pay income taxes on the import of this money which could amount up to 50 % of the total.
This would not happen, had you already declared your income taxes in the US from Afghanistan, but I don't know. Can you please let me know, and if you have already done that, forward me a copy of the income tax declaration and the IRS statement?
That would make things a whole lot easier I guess.

Anyways, I will need to know the bank account details of your Security Company.
As the diplomats are in Australia now, I think their bank details are of no use anymore.
Steven.... please hurry up and take of all these issues! I want to have you here, and I want to know when this will eventually happen!

oh sorry, I forgot the most important thing of all...please forgive me, but my mind is loaded with so many tasks!

As you want me to pick up the consignment once it has arrived here, I will have to present legal documents that I am the rightful owner.
I have briefly discussed the matter with Dr. Dr. Rechts-Beuger, and he said that presenting our email correspondence will definitely not be enough, because the property is more that 2 Mio $. There has to be an official property transfer executed, so all documents will have to be signed by you personally in the presence of a notary public who will have to witness your signature and sign the paperwork himself, too. As you are in Afghanistan now, you will therefore have to contact a notary public in Afghanistan, because all your signatures have to be made by you personally, there is no legal way to let yourself be represented by somebody else.

Can you please get this done as soon as possible and send the original documents by Fedex or DHL? This is very very important!

The official story of the fund is that I am it belong to me and I want to use it as an investment fund.
As I told you earlier,all the required documents are available for the legalization of the consignment box. hier bei mir jedenfalls nicht!
There is a certificate of ownership endorsed in your name. I did it here in Afghanistan.
The security company there in Ghana has it all and they will sent it to you through DHL as soon as they received the money to settle the custom.
If you look at the pictire of the consignment box which I sent to you, you will see the documents at the hand of the soldier who is packing the fund in the box for delivery.

I am a man few words...so if you want to transfer the money to them today, then go ahead and do it and send the transfer slip to them as well and a copy to me.
Since you will be busy until Friday, it is advisable that you wire the money to them today.

Dear Steven,

first of all, I am sorry that I do have to state that I do note like the tone of your email at all! Secondly, as I told you it requires a legal contract to transfer a Million-Dollar-property , witnessed by a notary public. For the set-up of this contract you would need a lot of my data, eg. passport number, a copy of passport, my full address and much more.
So that Certificate of Ownership cannot be acceptable, as it was not being witnessed by a notary public and does not refer to me with the needed data. In case you did it through a notary public, then please let me have the address details in Afghanistan, and I will contact him and ask for a copy.
Alternatively, let your Trust Company let me have the document.
I will not make any payment before I have seen it.

What about the income tax issue? You didn't say a thing about that! That is very important!

As this will take some time, please note that the payment will clearly NOT be made today.
Besides, it is highly questionable that I can use the same bank account information. What does Hennbecker Ltd. have to do with you Trust Security Company? I
I will of course need their account details; if they require the payment, it has to go into their account, that should be understood.

Last, let me express that I am honestly upset that you didn't even find ONE SINGLE nice word for me in this last mail, not a single one! It's all about the money, and that makes me very sad. We are having arguments now before we have even met, you still haven't arranged your flight, and time goes by so fast!
Listen, Steven..... I don't need that money from your consignment. If you want to invest it.... go right ahead, you can do that from any place in the world, you don't need to involve me if that causes that many complications.

It is quit unformtunate that you have not understand the situation of this place.
Here we are in a peace keeping camp and there is a lot restrictions, we do not use any telephone outside the camp. I am writing here from my hotel in Berlin. There has been no phone call from you, and now that I have read that it is a military security issue, I fully understand.
How can you doubt just for a second that I am not serious with you?

You're all I have, besides Hector (he is doing great, having a good time with my neighbours, they have a female Chihuahua which is in heat right now).
Of course I want to go on with our relationship, and I sincerely hope you do remember that we were already talking about details of our marriage. Jeanette has already ordered a burgundy silk bridesmaid dress Size XXL for 749,00 €, so we cannot just call it off.
What would happen to that Patek Philippe wrist watch I bought for you for Christmas?

There is only one thing that really bothers me. You do not seem to realize the legal difficulties and the tax aspect of the consignment situation. All I hear is; send the money..... and yes, dear, that'll come from my pocket easily...it's peanuts, you know? I'm just about to cash in almost 1 Mio $ for my house, and that just comes on top of what I have put aside from my husband's heritage.....so 1500 $ is really not much, it's rather a joke.

But:

1. I need the notary public's papers on the property transfer BEFORE we can even discuss whether or when it will be shipped, and to where.
2. I need your answer to my question whether you have already paid income taxes for that money, and if you did, I need a copy of your income tax declaration and your IRS report.
Reason: if you din NOT pay any income taxes and the property was legally transferred into my name, witnessed by a notary public, then I would have to pay these taxes upon arrival date of the consignment in Germany, and they amount to 50 %. Fine with me.... it's your money, not mine.... but although I've brought the subject up for at least 2 times, you just seem to ignore it.
3. I need your Trustsec Company's bank account details for the payment, once the above mentioned issues have been clarified.

So, how do we proceed? I need you to actually come forward with a little bit more than your usual "I'm a man of honour who knows the law"-talk and the pressure you seem to build up by mentioning the payment every time.
Let me tell you something:
I got used to our daily mails, I like your attitude very much, I like the way you look and the way you talk, I got used to you and I love you!
But:
I am a rich woman. I got more money than I will ever be able to spend in my remaining lifetime, so I can easily immigrate into the Bahamas alone and buy myself a Bahama toy boy... no problem at all.
So please do me a favour, and don't think I'd jump for any carrot dangling in front of my nose.

Get done what needs to be done and forward the needed documents, and then we can talk about the money.

The security company confirmed that the account is OK for them. .So kindly continue with it.

I don't have much time to write because I have to get out and take pictures almost all day long, therefore I must keep it short, I hope you will understand!
So, if there has not been any tax paid on that, 56 % of it will be gone once it is wired to Germany, because I would have to declare it and pay the taxes.
Are you sure you want to lose more than half of it?
That doesn't seem to make much sense to me.
As for the bank account situation: I have phoned my bank and inquired, and it cannot be done this way.
The recipient of the money and the account holder must be identical, or it would be illegal money laundry, and I would get in trouble.
So, please get me the account information I need for TrustSec.
And I still need the notary documents from Afghanistan on the property transfer.
If I don't have it, I cannot proceed.
Sure they can wire the money into my account directly. In that case they can even keep the box.
I do hope I will have it all by tonight!

listen, obviously you are not at all aware of the fully legal and fiscal implications of the transaction and transfer of that consignment.
Firstly, you can tell me as often as you want that no one will ask me any questions. How would you know? How many consignments of that value have you ever shipped to Germany?
Reality looks totally different.
I told you the consignment will be held up in Customs upon arrival, and a lot of people will ask a lot of questions.

Secondly, that bank account will NOT work, and I explained to you why.
The beneficiary and the account holder must be IDENTICAL.

So please... in order to get things done:

Send me a copy of the property transfer documents into my name, issued by a notary public.
Send me the bank account details of TrustSec.

If I don't get this, I have no idea how I can handle this.

I really understand what you are talking about concerning the property transfer documents for that consignment.
Here is a military camp and we do not have such time of obtaining such documents due to our duties and other activities that is around us.
As your fiance and the trust I have for you, I advise you to consult a notary public there in Germany who will issued document to you in your name and you will send a copy of it to me here and I will sign where neccessary and return it to you.
I think you know the amount that is involvedin the consignment box.($6 milion USD)
I think that is the only we need for everything to move forward.
The transaction of this kind is based on love and understanding. If you do not believe me then you are n ot going cope up with me at all.
I told you that the account information they gave you is ok for this transfer. Use it and do the transfer of the $1500 if you are serious with me.

I just got home and read your mail. Hector is out of his mind with joy and pleasure, and I will have to take him for a long walk on the river as soon as I have finished this mail to you, Darling.
Sadly, things are not as easy as one might think they are.
Your suggestion that I should consult a notary public here in Germany is a proof of endless trust and dedication, but: it just won't work that way. If it did.... believe me, both Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates would be on Welfare now, because I could just have walked up to a notary public's office and transfer their fortune into my bank account.
It is quite obvious that it can't be done like this.
It is YOUR signature under the transfer papers that the notary must witness, and you have to do it personally, you can not let it be done by anybody else.
So thank you very much for your trust, but we can't do it like that.

Secondly: the bank account. Your repeatedly answer that the bank account is fine doesn't help me bit. I have told you that for legal reasons on behalf of international money transfers the account holder and the beneficiary MUST be the SAME PERSON.
Trustsec is asopposed to be a legal entity, and they should have an account. So please forward me the details, where's the problem?

You know what? I think best would be I fly down to Ghana in January. I gotta move out of my house anyways, Matthieu and Mireille are putting a lot of pressure on me., so it won't matter much to me where I will have to kill time while waiting.Jeanette has already agreed to take care of Hector, so I'm good to go.
I will let you know my travel details, and please let me have TrustSec's address, so I will be able to got there and meet them.

Dear Sirs,

as Steven and I had many discussions going on about how to solve the custom and tax problems emerging from shipping the consignment which is presently in your custody to Germany, I have consulted another lawyer, and he had a much more relaxed viewpoint than Dr. Dr. Rechts-Beuger, the lawyer who used to consult me until today. I have fired Dr. Dr. Rechts-Beuger with immediate effect, because I just cannot allow that anything or anyone gets between Steven and me.
My new lawyer, Dr. Mirdochegal, told me that it is absolutely no problem to send the 1500 $-fee into the "old" account number which I was forwarded by these three ominous Diplomats, who are presumably still in Australia.
I just wonder how you will be able to access that account and the payment...but that is none of my problems, it's yours, and you will have to find a way.

The shipment of the consignment however must NOT happen before certain issues have been clarified, Dr. Mirdochegal is presently working on that. He strongly suggested that I should travel to Ghana instead, claim the consignment, just take it to some other safe place (e.g. a small, trustworthy private Bank) in Ghana and then go from there. That convinced me in the end, so I mailed the Bank which manages the accounts of my deceased husband and ordered them to wire the amount of 1500 $. So may I therefore ask you if you can be of any assistance in that respect? As you are around in Ghana, you will have trustworthy contacts, you know the local banks and procedures....... so please let me know what time would be convenient to meet you there.
I will then take care of my travel arrangements and discuss everything with you in a private and personal meeting.
According to my Bank's feedback, this international money transfer transaction might take some time; it cannot be ruled out that it's gonna be 10-17 week days.
I haven't heard anything from Steven since the day before yesterday, but that is nothing that worries me at all. You must understand that he is on a military mission in Afghanistan, and there will almost certainly be times when he has no access to internet; we even cannot have phone conversations, because that is not allowed.
I am sure that during one of these days he will get back to me.

I was already fearing you were out on a dangerous mission and something bad might have happened to you!
Is is safe for you down there in Afghanistan? Do you have at least a gun or a pistol to protect yourself when things get kind of tough? Oh my goodness.... I'm so worried.....I got so much on my mind!
