^^^ She was on the "news" last night. There seems to be something "fishy" about her account....former crew member, who somehow got back on board the ship and spent a lot of time with the Captain that night. A Phillipino crew member disputes her story.
If she is a former crew member why does she describe it as if she were a current crew member?

The man's a disgrace. If this was an insurance scam gone wrong, as someone suggested earlier, he's a bastard for going along with it and putting his passengers and crew at risk. If he's not fit to do the job he shouldn't have been taking on the responsibility. He ignored all the protocols that are in place for this kind of situation and he didn't alert the coastguard and the port authorities - they had to call HIM.
I notice the company is now refusing to meet his legal bills. |

^^^ And the cruise lines is offering a complete refund of the cost of the trip in addition to the above-referenced 30% discount for loyalty.
I would imagine if you accept the refund and the discount, you would have to sign some document that you would not sue the company in future regarding this "accident".
I would not sign and proceed to suing the company. |
