I think I am in love with the oracle.
BTW, the only thing I found unnecessary was the shot of Gerard Buttler's naked back side as he was looking out at the moon. Other than that, three thumbs up! |

I can't stand Gerard Butler, so I really don't want to see this. I'll stick with my copy of the old Richard Egan '300 Spartans' movie.
I used to be really anal about 'historical inaccuracies' in history based movies, but I've mellowed on it a bit. Ever since I got thrown out of a showing of Stargate the Movie for shouting 'you can't carbon date f*cking metal!' Now I just try to go with the flow. Though the abomination that was Troy almost killed me. But they threw in lots of Brad Pitt nudity and distracted me! |

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I just ordered "The 300 Spartans" which I think was released in 1962. Still waiting for it to ship out, can't wait until it arrives though, I've read nothing but good things about it. |

I saw it on Sunday on a dvd and enjoyed it, as did my better half - who normally isn't into "action" films.
Then the next day I got a call from the Standard to say that I'd won two tickets to see the film at the IMAX in a competition.
(And no, there are no shipping fees or barristers involved) |
