To defeat my frustration while Eater was down. I visited a few somewhat similar sites. One was 419 Law and Order.org. It may be my navigational skills were poor, but the main content seemed to be some sort of reviews, and promotion of get rich schemes. Correct me if I am a cynic, but I know quite a few people who have signed up for these schemes and have never become noticeably wealthier. In other words they are a type of 419 scam, Anyone care to have a look? |

HYIP/MLM/Ponzi schemes are not 419. And FYI, not too many people get rich from these other than the scheme's originator and his cronies.... |

419Legal is not a 'similar site' to Eater.
There is virtually no common ground between the two sites.
At one time 419Legal had South African Police connections; was administered by many members from Eater; was well respected by anti-fraud organisations worldwide; got mugus arrested; enjoyed the co-operation of everyone here, and was producing results in the fight against internet fraud.
However, all that changed dramatically.
419Legal is now owned and run by a US businessman purely for profit.
The site purports to be an information repository for internet fraud information. But, it is riddled with adverts, misinformation and, in cases, totally inaccurate claims.
It is administered mainly by people with very little knowledge of 419 or other scams.
Neither in its original form nor as it now exists has 419Legal been involved in scambaiting. |
