I worked a romance bait that recently ended but I am curious about a few things. The IP addresses came from Nigeria, Lebanon and Israel and when I finally got their payment information it was to be sent to someone in Stamps, AR.
I'm curious what the angle is and I don't think I was emailing multiple people. As far as the person in Stamps, AR it must be either an accomplice or someone that they scammed into receiving payments for them?
My signature is what I got when I tried to get them to pick up the payment information from the verify site. |

The Israel and Lebonon IPs are probably satellite providers for your lad in Nigeria. If you post the headers people here better qualified than me can analyse them. Remove any personal info. before posting.
The AR details are largely irrelevant if your lad is collecting from WU, provided he has the mtcn he can collect it anywhere. |

Ahhhhh. I have never used Western Union so I didn't know you could pick up a payment anywhere. So all you need to collect is the mtcn? No wonder the scammers like WU so much. |

uhuh, untracable, so if they pick it up in Nigeria no-one ever knows. By the way, let them use the v3r1fys3c.com (de-leetspeak the site), check the /baiter part yourself... |

You could try telling the scammer that they don't actually need the MTCN to pick up the money provided that they turn up at the right place with your details and valid ID. This is true and on the WU website somewhere.
The exception to this rule is if they're picking it up in Nigeria, but hey, you're not sending the money there are you?  |

I sent "her" to v3r1fys3c.com for a fake payment but they wouldn't take the bait no matter how hard I tried. I made up all sorts of BS from my local WU office concerning security but they never even tried to get the MTCN. I either found a mugu with all their chromosomes or they were baited before. |

The name was Therman Box. I did some quick searches just in case it was a real person that was getting played but I found nothing. |
