Picture requests? Some oldbies may recall that I posted a picture of me in that costume several years ago. I wore it for Halloween.

This is possibly about 4 years ago. I would be the person in the spangly purple thing. Said spangly purple thing was hand sewn and beaded, is surprisingly heavy, and if anyone knows anyone who wears a 34FF top, boy do I have just the purple spangly thing for them... The lady did them made to measure, and I recall she was so gobsmacked by what I said my bra size was that I had to literally mail her a bra that fit me to size the top by.
I forget what my hip measurements were in those days. I really should pull out my bellydance DVDs again and get back into it. |

Hmm, got a rave this Friday... think I might go and dance/have a few drinks.
Probably going to try some moves that involves sliding the feet around on the floor pretty fast. I'm thinking suede soles on the bottom of my converse shoes . What do any of you more experienced dancers think? Also wonder where I would get suede as a raw material. Hmm. |

Ignore previous question since I found suede fabric:
Is it a good idea if you want to walk in one place at all with no traction? 
Ideas for keeping it on the shoe would be good too. Right now I'm thinking super glue.
