I heard George isn't really dead. He is frozen in a cryogenic chamber in Yakima Washington with Rose the goat and Elvis and they are going to revive them when the economy improves.

I had a Jack Russell terrier (short haired) called Ben. JRs are pretty fearless and territorial. I was saved from a particularly nasty gas bill once when mine savaged the postman's ankles as he tried to deliver it. The dog subsequently got a warning letter, I had to read it to him though.

Not to turn this into a debate about certain breeds but the medias certainly knows how to write it Rolling Eyes

I doubt the pitts were going after the children - if they were, no JRT would be able to stop them. They are most often dog agressive - not human agressive.

That said it is terrible that the JRT was killed and it is just as terrible that these incidents seems to be happening more and more often Sad
