Welcome Richard. Your member name shows up quite a bit in a Google search, including a hotmail account. If that's you, please PM a Mod to have your name changed to something more obscure -- it's just good baiting practice. And don't use a Hotmail account for baiting if that's you -- choose Gmail, Hushmail or Fastmail as they strip your IP and make you untraceable -- every bit of security helps.

Otherwise, don't be dismayed by the lack of immediate response, the lad will respond believe me -- a live contact is like gold to them. Start off slow, baiting straight, and learn the lingo and pacing of a scam. When you get more experienced you'll get better results.

Oh, and sign up for a mentor if you haven't already. Very Happy

I'll ask to have it altered as soon as I work out how.

Just use the Private Message function to any Moderator or Admin (they of the dark green or red-hued names) and they can see to it that you get a new name.

Happens all the time, so it's no big deal. Smile

Slow down there, scooter. Expect one reply per day. Unless your lad owns his own computer. And even if he does, you are trying to waste his time, you should not respond more that once a day.

I only started baiting on Sunday, I am expecting to get a poem through from a lad today in order to go into my "Bi-quarterly church newsletter" that goes into print today!

I have several others I'm playing straight but wanted to get stuck into one straight away, seems more than happy to pen a poem for me (minimum of 16 lines)

I'm not epecting great things from this but will post when I have it!

It's only 24 hours since you sent (one?) email and you're jumping up and down because you've had no response.
Some lads take weeks to respond.
They can't all afford to visit the internet cafe every day.

Try sending responses to a dozen or so (you can pick any number from our Surplus Letters Forum.
If you get loads of replies then just ignore most of them and proceed with only those you feel comfortable with.
