My fav is Ghirardelli (www.ghirardelli.com). The Caramel-filled Milk Chocolate and the Citrus Sunset Intense Dark Chocolate are the best. I will have to diet for the next two weeks since I have no choice but to go out and buy some Ghirardelli chocolate. Thanks. Very Happy

ghirardelli is super,,,, of course you need a pair of scissors to open each piece.

I used to like a milk chocolate bar you could buy in Germany that had a pistachio cream filling? Lindt, I think.
Other than that.....any decent chocolate is cool.
Yes, I even like Hersheys........the special dark or whatever they call it now.

Around easter time they come out with Reece's Peanut Butter Eggs I can't let me buy one or else I'll get addicted. So I force myself to pass them by.

I have a relative that works for hershey/reeses.
he always has marketing samples....so much he throws them out. needless to say his trash cans are the only ones on his block emptied regularily....and stood back up with the lids on. Smile

what is fun is when he has 'bench' samples. small production runs of prototype candy they may produce. I've sampled some of the hershey stuff 6 months before they hit the shelf....or never did.
of course....he and his family rarely touch the stuff and are thin as a rail.
life sucks.......

I did take a lot of various american candies to china on my recent visit.
the younger kids went for the chocolate....the adults seemed to like the chewier stuff..

When I lived in Germany, I liked the the Banjo bars. That's pronounced BAHN-yo for us yanks.

Here in the states, I love Baby Ruth bars. Mmmm.... nougat, peanuts and milk chocolate. What's not to like?

I can't say as I ever met a chocolate-y type thing that I didn't like...

But somewhere or other, I've got a recipe for homemade chocolate mousse, that's all of four or five ingredients, I think, (butter, cream, sugar and/or vanilla?, baking chocolate) that will blow you out of your socks if you eat more than a quarter cup of it. I made it for a coworker's birthday once, and we felt it should come with a warning. And a gallon of milk. I really should make another batch.

Got a lovely handmade truffles recipe or two, also.

Reeses peanut butter cups. Lindores Peanut butter truffles.

Chocolate must be stored in the fridge.

I've seen ads for Dark Chocolate Peanut M&Ms and I haven't been able to find them. Sad
