During our last audit exercise of the departmental customers file to submit to the bank management for the annual audit of the year, I discovered a huge amount of money in a Suspense account in my branch belonging to one of our customer; a property magnate and popular American star (Anna Nicole Smith), who made a numbered fixed deposit for 18 calendar months, value at Forty Million United States Dollars (USD40m).
Upon maturity several notices where sent to her, even during her illness, which began in 2004. Again, another notification was sent and still no response came from her. We later found out that Anna Nicole Smith and her only son who is the only beneficiary to this fund are both dead.

I'm amazed how quickly they use tragedies for scams.
