No seriously, a lot of the in-game moneymaking is done through the 'Mature' areas, they are consistently the most popular places.

However it is also a great social network and an amazing environment in which to meet people, experiment with 3D modeling etc. Recently there have been problems with pyramid scams, interestingly. I generally log on twice a week to update my 'avatar's' clothes if there's good stuff on the fashion blog here http://lindenlifestyles.com/ .

I had forgotten about the second life site as this computer isn't compatible with it, might go and have a look again when the other laptop gets here, it was supposed to be delivered yesterday, it wasn't, I phoned the catalogue, and they say, the supplier is having problems, should be here by April 25th, Grattan are wankers Evil or Very Mad

I just saw they had a linux client available and downloaded it... interesting idea, but I can't see myself playing it much in the future really.

I played it briefly until I got bored.

It's sort of intersting, and theres SOME places you can make stuff, but unless you enjoy fiddling with a CAD interface through a RPG interface, then scripting it with an almost undocumented language, you might not get it...

It is worth wandering around though. The furries alone make you question what exactly is going on in peoples heads.

So glad I've never entered either of those lakes of fire. If Rockstar were to make a game identical to second life, but with the kind of artilery usually associated with their games, I'd probably play that.
