We have a large candle that constantly changes colour as it burns. Not the flame, the wax of the candle glows different colours.

Damned if I can work it out, and Hayley wont let me cut it apart until it has burned out. Spoilsport. Sad

For the ones which have a real flame:

I must keep using the candle so I get get it apart sooner rather than later!

I believe they work just like all other candles: you light the wick with a match, a lighter, or whatever, then they burn.
