So as a have a fair amount of bandwith at home and work as I work in IT thought I'd help out by using it to close some of these mugu banks down,

As I was at work with the weekend coming up I thought let's go. I vnc'd my Mac at home and fired up the vampire, and at work started up Muguito on a PC system (didn't tell the boss as he normally uses all the bandwith for uploading conspiracy theory videos during the weekend, but I digress).

Got home and the cooling fan on the Mac laptop was doing serious overtime so I stopped the Vampire and loaded Muguito.

Soooo cpu power for cpu power which is the most efficient as the fan keeps me awake..
Not being greedy but as I would like to blow my own whistle, how can you tell which sites or even how many you have activly had a hand in killing?

That's it I guess......

I started vampire up then lost consciousness one weekend, and had clocked 5 gigs when i woke up.

I've got a dual core CPU, and it had BETTER not overheat refreshing pictures on websites! Razz

I actually asked the people at aa419 how I could see which banks I have killed off. Muguito practically running 12hrs a day from two high speed sites. They say you can't tell, but should have a warm fuzzy feeling from fighting the good fight.

That doesn't get me any pretty flags here on my signature though "SNIFF" Sad

The leeching tools are primarily used only for getting an uncooperative hoster's attention.

Writing abuse letters on fake sites if far more effective and aa419 can always use more bank killers.

Running the Lad Vampire would in no way give you flags. But we do this to harm the lads and to do something against advance fee fraud, the flags are just one little compensation for people that do that bit of extra work. And for SlayerFaith.

just start writing letters, and once they go down, you get a flag... It's too easy really... (the LV and Muguito are merely a good threat in case they ignore us...) And no, i don't have flags, i concentrate on escrows, they don't earn you flags afaik...

^^^ I think they might do actually... If not, you could always put something like "Fake Escrow Sites deaded: 20" or some such thing into your sig-line.

AFAIK, you get a flag for killing any fake site used in 419 scams, which includes escrows, courier companies, security companies, and fake job sites. If you do the research, write the abuse report, and the site is croaked; you get a flag.
