His IP's were in Lagos until a few days after he said he had travelled to Budapest.
At the moment he is proper pi**ed off due to my non appearance in Budapest. As i said a few posts ago, it seems to be the same person, he always mis-spells my name (wrong spelling but always the same if you see what i mean) and the general word use of the emails is the same as they have always been (Ive been baiting him for six weeks now).
I dont know a better way to narrow down an IP address other than to a country.
Any ideas - let me know. I dont want to claim credit for a safari if it is two lads emailing me from different countries!!
Cheers

Is he using the same exact email address? If he is, it's probably a real safari. Usually they'll use two persons if it's two locations. For example: the dying man and his lawyer/banker/security deposit holder/whatever. The first one will send you to contact the second one. |

Added: What are the customs/immigration like at a railway border crossing? never done it myself |
I've done the Vienna-Budapest trip several times on train. The border crossing is not a big deal nowadays. The border guards walk through the train, check whether everyone has his passport, look at the photo, and that's about it.
It could be though that a Nigerian national would be controlled more thoroughly. He would in any case need a Hungarian visum.
You wrote that all he is after are 4500 euros? Would this even cover the costs for plane tickets, visa charges etc. for a Lagos-Budapest-Lagos roundtrip?
Did you suggest Budapest as a meeting place or was it him? |

Is he still in Budapest? - Couldnt tell you. He is not responding to my emails.
As far as the money is concerned: He thinks he will be paid the following upon my arrival (He is 'employed' by my property company now)
1) 4500euro Demurrage charge
2) 20,000euro basic wage
3) 56,000euro for the 7 properties that he has identified already (8000 per property)
4) 150,000euro to cover legal fees for property purchase
He is also under the impression that all of the funds required to buy the properties that he has identified will go through him, so i guess he is expecting a further 700,000euro-ish
Grand Total = 950,500euro
he thinks he is on to a winner!! |

It might be a member of his gang who operates out of or near Budapest. But then again, I'd probably go out of my way to Europe for 950,000 Euro. |
