I got an email from a certain dremmacs account warning me about one of my baits... Anyone?

warning you about baiting or are you straight baiting and they are warning you about it being a scam?

the latter are around every once in a while.
just give him a short notice that you are a baiter.

How did they do that? Hack his account?

Sounds like a real scam warning. Just reply that you are baiting him, and thank the warner. Your email addy probably showed up on a CC list somewhere or was accidentally sent to a baiter by the lad.

^^^ What SF said or someone managed to convince a lad that they are an oga, and the warner did and probably does not want to break their cover.

Lads make a lot of mistakes in sending out their emails. I've often receive emails with giant "cc" lists of other intended victims. When you see those, you can refer them to a Mod who can then get the proper attention to those email addresses, assuming they appear to be actual intended victims.

oga just means boss or someone in charge. A title of respect. I think it is igbo.

A CC list is a "carbon copy" list. Most of the time, scammers will spam their format by addressing the email to themselves and adding a shedload of other addys in the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) field, where the recipients can't see it. Every once in awhile, they screw up and add it to the CC, where every person who gets it can see all the addys it was sent to.
