Dear Ethics Panel,
I need to know if it is ethical to 'borrow' a colleagues paper before lunch when she isn't looking and complete the crossword puzzle in pencil, rubbing it out before she reads it. The paper costs her a $1.20 and I wonder if I am devaluing it and should contribute something to the cost. $0.05 maybe.
Signed,

There's nothing wrong with having umpteen ethics threads each week. People seem to like them and it's better than asking whether hotmail strips your IP every 34,5 minutes. What I however honestly don't get is that some seem to desire that every little aspect of scambaiting should have clear and distinct rules to bait by and any laissez-faire regarding such questions will not be tolerated...and then we're jackboots.
Honestly. It's been repeated over and over again: most of the "rules" we're talking about here are to keep the board running nice and smoothly and within the realms of legality. We're not here to nanny each and every aspect of what you like to do in your free time. We have rules regarding what you can post here and in what manner, we have no strong opinions on whether cheating on a frigid girlfriend is morally acceptable.
EDIT: I wasn't trying to be smart, Shiver locked the thread while I carefully crafted this post. |
