When I click either one of messaged on k7 site, they play fine,
when I download them, they wont play at all,
Anyone else had this problem, know of a fix

I have never used that site, but if you tell me the extension of the dl'd file I can help.

I don't know anything about a .dll file, my message play fine on k7 web,
I download them to my hardrive, say "My Documents" the don't play,
so it doesn't make scense, they should play

It's no bother, just wondering why they wont play... Very Happy

He means the downloaded file (dl'd -> downloaded). What is the extension of the wave file? I seem to remember you have a choice of two types. A quick guess is that you don't have to correct codex or the correct program associated with the file. You have to tell us what you do when you download it and try to run it. Do you double-click in the file or open the player then open the file.

Yeah, sorry dl'd -> downloaded. I must be getting lazy in my typing.

This is from the K7 FAQ-

...you can choose between the GSM and PCM .wav file formats, changing the sound quality and file size of your voice messages. The GSM .wav file is the default, lower quality, smaller file size voice message .wav file you receive upon sign up. You also have the choice of the PCM .wav file which is the higher quality, larger file size voice message .wav file. You can choose the format you wish to receive upon sign up as well as changing your preference in "My K7" login.

Once you have changed to the PCM.wav format its easy. Download, and then just click on the file. It should launch.

If it does not and you have Windoze, right click and go to "Open with". Go down the list of available players.
