Hey YeaWhatever, your imagination and creativity has me in awe. The Abu Sunbul scambait is a work of genius.
http://yeawhatever.catholiccall.org/abusunbul/index.html
I'm dying to see the end of it. If you click on the link for the week ending 5-Aug-06, there are no emails. Is there more to the story after you accuse the confederate of taking the money to Cairo?
Sorry, I feel like a groupie pestering a rock star for an autograph. But I'm a lowly newby baiter eager for inspiration - and more good laughs! |

Yeah, you're probably right about PMing him. But I put the message in a public forum because I thought his answer would be of interest to other people who enjoy following his baits. If he doesn't see this in the next day or two, I will PM him. |

First off, on behalf on myself, Big Worm and chris_walken, we are happy that you enjoyed that safari bait. It was certainly the longest one that any of us have ever pulled off.
Secondly, the reason that there are no more emails posted is because, simply, there were no more emails from the scammer. I think that by that point, they took their lumps and went home. |

Oh, that's too bad. Even though you put those guys through an amazing wringer, I always hope they'll stick around for just a little more abuse.
Maybe you should remove the 5-Aug-06 link since there are no emails for that week. I've been pressing that link like a crazed rat in a science experiment who thinks if he presses the button one more time some food will come out!
Congrats again on a baiting masterpiece! I loved the fake satellite tracking pages you created. |

If you liked that one, please stay tuned in the next few weeks. We have another lad that is anxiously awaiting another trip. The trip isn't quite as long, maybe 6k miles or so, but the journey will be MUCH more difficult. |

No worries Bruin... is it okay if the walk is vertical?
Anyway, the trip should be soon. We are just waiting on the matter of a visa. Once that is cleared up, everything should be good for the going! |

I've got more good news, there is a second lad that is nearly ready for an even better safari to one of the highest profile destinations on earth. With any luck, we should have two very memorable super-safaris completed within a month or two. |

Care to drop any hints about this highest profile destination? Does the word "Himalaya" figure in this bait?

I don't really want to let on just yet where it is, but Big Worm and I promise this, if this works out, this will be nearly impossible to duplicate as just a few months ago both of us considered this destination untouchable. (No. It's not Mars.) |
